Dr. Cristian Jesam

Dr. Cristian Jesam is a reproductive medicine specialist and Associate Professor in the Reproductive Medicine Unit at the Maternal and Child Research Institute (IDIMI) of the Universidad de Chile — Chile's leading public research university and one of the foremost academic medical institutions in Latin America.

Based at the Instituto Chileno de Medicina Reproductiva (ICMER) in Santiago, Dr. Jesam has dedicated his career to advancing evidence-based reproductive care across Chile and the region. He is affiliated with SGFertility Chile, a partnership with Shady Grove Fertility — one of the largest fertility networks in the United States — bringing internationally benchmarked protocols to Chilean patients.

Dr. Jesam has participated in WHO consultation processes on reproductive health and has published peer-reviewed research in Human Reproduction, the flagship journal of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE). His clinical practice spans the full spectrum of infertility diagnosis and treatment, including IVF, reproductive endocrinology, and LGBTQ+ family building.

As an academic physician at Chile's premier public research university, Dr. Jesam contributes both to clinical care and to the education of medical students and residents in reproductive medicine.
